Albendazole 10 g with Selenium and Cobalt
Action:
Internal Antiparasitic.
Indications:
Indicated for bovine parasitosis. Gastrointestinal Nematodes: Mature and immature forms of: Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp. Acts on hypobiotic forms of Ostertagia ostertagi. Action on adults: Oesophagostomum spp. Lesser action on Bunostomum spp. Lungworms - Dictyocaulus viviparus - Cestodes - Moniezia spp. - Trematodes. Liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica): adults. The presence of Cobalt is indicated for mineral deficiency associated with parasitism, which can bring about symptoms such as: loss of appetite, weight loss, weakness, delayed sexual development and anemia. In addition, Cobalt assists in the synthesis of vitamin B12 and plays a role in maintaining rumen flora. Selenium is part of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px; EC 1.11.1.9), responsible for catalyzing the reduction of peroxides to protect cells from oxidative damage.
