Vial 4 g + Vial x 80 ml (diluent)

Indications:
Broad-spectrum antibiotic from the latest-generation cephalosporin family, specifically recommended for the treatment of respiratory diseases in sport horses not intended for human consumption. Also indicated in one-day-old chicks for the treatment of infections associated with E. Coli. Horses: Indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases in horses associated with Streptococcus Zooepidemicus.

Dosage:
Administer at a rate of daily doses. Treatment should be given for 3 to 5 days or as directed by the veterinarian.

Horses:
2-4 mg/kg, 1 ml per 25 kg bw.

Poultry:
0.08 - 0.20 mg/kg. 1 ml of reconstituted Sodium Ceftiofur is enough to treat 250 chicks at a dose of 0.20 mg/bird, or 625 chicks at a dose of 0.08 mg/bird.

Routes of Administration:
The product is administered by deep intramuscular injection. For one-day-old chicks, it is administered subcutaneously in the neck area.

Contraindications:
When used in the species mentioned and at the recommended doses, it presents no contraindications for use. Do not use in animals hypersensitive to cephalosporins. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
