Formula:
Amoxicillin Trihydrate 15g
Indications:
Amoxical Hampton is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions: Infectious diseases caused by sensitive Gram+ and Gram- microorganisms, localized in the digestive, respiratory, urogenital tract, skin and soft tissues. Bacterial sensitivity to Amoxicillin: High sensitivity: Gram-: Pasteurella sp., Fusobacterium, Haemophilus fusiformis, Brucella. Gram+: Bacillus anthracis, Streptococcus sp., Staphylococcus sp., Clostridium sp., Corynebacterium, Erysipelothrix. Good sensitivity: Gram-: Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella sp., Treponema, Moraxella.
Dosage and Routes of Administration:
The product is ready to use. Administer by deep intramuscular injection. Administer 15 mg/kg bw, equivalent to 1 ml/10 kg bw. Repeat if necessary after 48 hours.
Contraindications:
Should be applied at two separate sites when exceeding 20 ml. Do not administer to females in service (breeding). Do not apply to animals with a history of allergy to beta-lactam antibiotics.
Side Effects:
Sensitivity reactions ranging from simple hives to anaphylactic shock. Local reaction at the injection site, gastrointestinal symptoms, mainly in herbivores.
