It should be first administered when foals are between 6 and 8 weeks of age, and thereafter whenever deemed necessary at the discretion of the attending professional. Pregnant mares can be treated in any month of gestation, although it is advisable to do so 1 month before and 1 month after foaling, to reduce pasture contamination in spring and summer, thereby reducing infections in foals.

Dosage and routes of administration:
The product is administered orally. The recommended dose is 1 g of IVERCAL PLUS per 60 kg live weight. The product is administered orally as follows: The syringe plunger is set according to the dose to be administered based on the horse's weight. Each mark on the plunger equals 1 g of product, the amount indicated for 60 kg of animal weight. The syringe cannula is placed in the interdental space of the animal, verifying that it is free of feed. The plunger is pressed so that the paste is deposited on the back of the tongue. The animal's head should then be raised immediately for a few seconds to facilitate swallowing of the medication.

Restrictions of use:
Do not use in horses intended for human consumption. Do not use in animals under 6 months of age.
