Formula:
Thiamine Hydrochloride 30 g.; Excipients q.s. 100 ml.

Description:
Thiamine vitamin supplement. Supplementing with this vitamin improves the complete oxidative metabolism of glucose, especially in tissues that depend energetically on glucose or pyruvate-isocitrate metabolism (heart and nervous system), which increase in demand under physiological stress (pregnancy, lactation, fever, strenuous exercise or the demands of rearing).

Indications:
To prevent or treat functional disorders linked to Thiamine deficiency or increased demand (neuritis, polyneuritis, sciatic syndromes, rheumatism, pain, and to support glycogen storage).

Target species:
Sport horses. Do not administer to animals intended for human consumption.

Route of administration: Slow intravenous, with the animal at rest.

Warning and Precautions:
The intravenous route must be given slowly, as anaphylactoid reactions have been reported in rare cases. Protect from light and excessive heat.
